Soviet Era Advertising

I found these images on a Russian site called EnglishRussia, in a post on Russian Commercial Advertising.

We often get to see the propaganda posters from this era, but rarely get to see everyday commercial advertising for things like food, drinks, cigarettes etc.

They’re really quite charming. Click on the link above to see them all, and while you are there its worth having a look around the whole site – there is some really interesting photography there too.
